Located on the west side of campus, Marmion Hall is home to over 110 freshmen men in a traditional "community style" layout. Double rooms line each hallway with community bathroom facilities on each floor (three floors). Marmion Hall is most often referred to as "Marmion/Snyder" because the two buildings are physically connected by a lobby area on the first floor. Marmion/Snyder is known as "the" first year residence hall, though some freshmen residents live in Benoit or Henderson. The Marmion laundry room is located on the first floor and Marmion shares a large game and study lounge area (the Lion's Den) with Snyder, which is located off the main lobby. Resident Assistants (RAs) sit duty at the front desk located in the main lobby each night, and residents can enter the building through the parking lot lobby entrance or the back entrance of the Lion's Den (facing main campus). Vending machines are available in the lobby area, all Marmion residents are on the unlimited meal plan. Marmion has 3 Resident Assistants (one on each floor). Marmion built-in units were refurbished and the building received new carpet in summer 2016. The Lion's Den received new furniture summer 2017.
